This QuickCar Battery Master Disconnect Switch is used for high Amp alternators, comes without a mounting Panel, and is designed to mounted by user in the location of their choice. Includes hardware to be installed in a 3/4" hole. Most racing organizations and sanctioning bodies require these for an emergency cut-off switch. QuickCar's master disconnect switch has a bright red epoxy coated handle and accepts 3/8" ring terminals for battery posts and 3/8” ring terminals on alternator posts. The heavy-duty alternator posts fits the needs for alternators producing up to 125 Amps.
QuickCar Pt.# 55-121 is recommended for jumping current from the alternator to the battery post.
